Orin is a average Californian world traveler. He has always loved cats, and dreams of someday owning a cat (or a doggo) of his own, but having to travel country to country, his dream is far from coming true. The road is often lonely, so he always yearn for playing with stray cats and dogs to relieve his boredom, but they are usually terrified of humans. He couldn’t believe how many adorable cats roam the streets and cafes, and how aggressively friendly they are when he landed in Turkey for a two-week sightseeing trip. If he stood there for several minutes, a lovely kitten would come running to be petted… and then soon after, another! He believes it reflects the Turkish people’s loving hearts, as they have taken it upon themselves to care for these adorable animals, feeding them and even building them tiny houses.
He was strolling along the Bosphorus Canal one day when he noticed something he had never seen before: two lovely cats just cuddling each other. He’s never seen any cats, let alone strays behave like this. He worried if anyone would think this animal friendship wasn’t staged but then, who could ever possibly pose cats like this? Who would even try? Life’s too short for that!
He absolutely adored Istanbul and cannot wait to return. He misses the kind people, excellent food, and, of course, the furry friends. He wonders if some of them miss him as well.

It was a chilly day, so maybe they were huddling only for warmth? But then why would they sit atop this windy wall? They are exposed to the elements here
There is no answer. Other than that they were just enjoying the view, like everyone else walking by that day. They are clearly at peace
