Meet Bruce, a 4-year-old golden retriever who has become a sort of refined stick collector connoisseur.
Bruce is from the US and loves sticks so much that he collects them, a lot of them.
‘The goodest boy in the world’ has been collecting sticks for as long as he was able to and has taken the internet by storm with pictures of him proudly posing next to his most prized possessions.
One day, a large snowfall near his home left around 12 inches of snow on the ground, which meant he couldn’t go out.
He only had one stick at the time, which was his absolute favorite.
One fateful evening, while there was still lots of snow on the ground. Bruce left his stick in the field outside and couldn’t find it again regardless of says of frenzied and relentless searching.
He did absolutely everything in his power to find it, and one day, when the snow had melted enough, he found his precious stick.
He must’ve vowed from that moment on to never be without a stick again, so he began his now enormous collection.
His stick collection is now over 50 sticks large, but none of them are for playing; they are simply for collecting.
This is due to one wrong game of fetch, which left him with a perforated esophagus that almost lost him his life.
From that point on, Bruce only played fetch with a rubber stick.
When asked how he felt about Bruce’s newfound fame Leo had this to say:
“Am I surprised that Bruce has become an internet sensation? Absolutely not. He is the light of my life and truly a unique pup, so I am more proud of him than anything.”
