The man was on his way to work on his bike when he noticed a peculiar, high-pitched sound emanating from a building site nearby.

He realized the sound was coming from a sewer well as he got closer. And it appeared to be a few pups howling for assistance.

He rushed into the well without thinking and saw five “balls” of mud moving, whining, and barking constantly.

One by one, he came to their aid. And when he came back to the surface, he saw that the mud balls had been five adorable new pups…

The young guy assumed their mom would be within the well, or at the very least close by, but he was unable to locate her.

Thankfully, other than being smeared in the dirt, the cubs were fine, healthy, and uninjured. Fortunately, all of this grime could be easily removed with a simple wash.

The man brought five filthy puppies home, bathed them, and then fed them.

He took pictures of them after cleaning them.
