It’s a heart-wrenching reality that the population of stray and maltreated animals is on the rise. Sadly enough, I came across an incident today that left me shattered. A helpless creature was tossed over the fence, writhing in agony and unable to even sit up straight. This brings us to the point, what could possibly compel a human to indulge in such despicable acts?

It’s already difficult to see stray dogs and puppies wandering around the streets, but to make matters worse, certain individuals feel the need to “assist” by leaving them outside small shelters. This situation is quite complicated, particularly when you take into account that others are lodging complaints against these helpful individuals.

Today was just like any other day when I spotted a poor, unwell puppy in the shelter. It looked like it had taken a nasty fall and was unable to sit up, whimpering in agony while struggling with respiratory problems. Without any further delay, I got started on treating him by administering hydration through infusion and giving him antibiotics.

While I was taking care of a little pup, a woman showed up with another one that was in good health. She explained that she didn’t want to abandon it on the street or throw it away. Thankfully, the pup was quite hungry and ate its fill.

Observing the cruel mistreatment of defenseless creatures is a distressing sight. We have a responsibility to provide them with the affection and care they deserve, at the very least. It’s crucial to spread awareness regarding ethical pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering pets to avoid further instances of abandonment and neglect.
